Most coffee tables sit between 16" and 18" tall, about level with or slightly lower than your sofa cushions. JCS Casting Co. legs with a standard top sit right in that range.

  • A good rule of thumb is a top about two-thirds the length of your sofa. Leave about 14" to 18" between the table and the sofa so you have room to walk and reach.
